3rd Annual Blessing of the Boats – All are Welcome!We are inviting all boaters in the area to join us for a community tradition of Blessing of the Boats to celebrate the start of a safe and memorable season on the water.
Location: Black River / Huron Lady II Dock Date: Saturday, May 23rd Time: 10:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.– Boats will remain in the river during the event (no docking).
– Listen live on 105.5 WPHM as Paul Miller broadcasts from the Huron Lady II.
– We’ll also monitor Channel 72 on VHF radio.
– Once all participating boat names are called, vessels will proceed east out of the river, where holy water will be sprinkled on each boat.

Come down to the Black River Walk and enjoy the view as boats pass by after the blessing—it’s a great way to kick off the season with your community. Bring a coffee, wave to your boating friends, and be part of this growing tradition.
