Thomas Edison is the most famous inventor to have ever lived — but did you know about his deep Michigan connections? Though born in Ohio, Edison spent his formative years in Port Huron, a time that would shape his entire life and change the world we live in today.
Did Edison really invent everything credited to him? Join historian Andrew Kercher as he gets behind the real story of the War of the Currents and separates Edison Myth from Edison Fact.
The evening begins at 5:00 PM with a live 30-minute concert by Ourselves, followed by the lecture at 5:30 PM.
Admission is FREE. Donations are welcome and directly support the Sanilac County Historical Society.
Sponsored by Ron & Ann Erickson.
