In this Just for Fun Wheel Throwing Pottery Class, kids ages 7–12 will get hands-on experience at the pottery wheel in a playful, low-pressure environment. This one-hour class is all about trying something new, getting a little messy, and having a great time while learning the basics of shaping clay on the wheel.

Our instructors will guide kids step-by-step through centering clay, pulling up walls, and creating their very own pottery pieces—no experience needed! Every child will have their own wheel and plenty of encouragement to explore and experiment.

Good to know:

• Class is designed for kids ages 7–12
• Each child gets their own pottery wheel
• Parents/guardians are welcome to stay and watch, but will need to register separately if they’d like to use a wheel
• Clothes may get messy—dress accordingly!
• Each student will be able to keep one piece and choose a color to be glazed and fired and picked up at a later date.
