MULTIPLE DATES TO CHOOSE FROM
Come join us for your Summer Pottery flex class experience! All classes are Á la Carte no experience needed!
We know Summer is a busy time, so, during the summer months, we are offering classes that can be purchased individually. Register for classes, ahead of time or on the fly! ***There’s a 3 hour cut off to register for each class to ensure we are totally prepared for the number of students each day.
You choose the days that work for you And your schedule!
Our team of expert ceramic art instructors will build your experience around your interests. Whether it is learning to throw clay on the potters wheel, hand building mugs and dishes, making garden sculptures, decorating tiles, building bird houses, creating creatures or any number of projects you can dream of.
It’s all waiting for you this summer at Foundry!!
Beginner and returning students are welcome. Instructors will start beginner students either on the wheel or slab roller. Returning students may work on their own projects or participate in instructor led class.
Note :
These classes are designed for people 16years old and over. All skill levels welcome, no experience needed. All materials included.
Seats are limited can fill up fast so it’s recommended to sign up as far ahead as possible.
** our Summer classes Are replacing The regular five week classes for June through August. These classes aren't intended for a one time fun time Class substitute. Students are in charge of finishing/glazing their own pieces.
***This will require you to schedule at least a second class during the three month of summer timeslots in order to finish your piece and get it back to you fired. Any questions please feel free to email us at hello@foundryporthuron.com
*** all pieces will need to be labeled with First Name, Last Name, Month, Day and Year or your pieces will not be eligible for firing.
Returning students
Beginner and Intermediate students:
No Outside work - no exceptions. All work must be done during class time. Once a piece leaves the class it will not be allowed back in.
Advanced and Co-op students: Please see instructor for rules for clay and glaze use.
No production pottery.
Please use back door behind building
Parking in the Gravel lot north of Nicky D's, North side of our building and street parking spots are available / doors open 5 minutes before class.
* Please look under the family friendly Pottery tab for Classes that are suitable For all ages, including kids 15 and under.
All students must adhere to Foundry rules. Abusive, or disruptive behavior will result in removal.
--If you only sign up for one summer pottery class we will not be able to fire your pieces.
