Join us for our longest running eco-stewardship project every Tuesday at 10am from May to October! The Blue Water River Walk is a 1-mile stretch of restored shoreline on the St. Clair River in downtown Port Huron. Invasive plants along the Blue Water River Walk are among the greatest threats to wildlife habitat because they outcompete the native plants that wildlife need for food and shelter. We work every Tuesday to remove invasive plants, care for native plants, and monitor pollinators, birds and other wildlife. Become a community scientist and hone your identification skills by attending a Tuesday Trek! All ages, abilities, and experience levels are welcome Location: 2210 Military Street (SOUTH entrance of park). Look for the Blue Water River Walk County Park sign. Parking is available at the bottom of the hill near the Bean Dock. Email our Restoration Coordinator at Anna@scriver.org for more info. Thank you to the St. Clair County Parks and Recreation Commission and the Community Foundation of St. Clair County for supporting our stewardship and restoration activities at the Blue Water River Walk and Wetlands County Park.
